| If you have a larger shop (2-5 bays and several
technicians), you may want to look at ShopLite.
This program allows you to create work orders, manage inventory,
schedule service, run sales reports and export your work to popular
accounting programs like QuickBooks(c) and Peachtree(c).
Customer history is also enabled in this version. A Point of Sale
Interface is included. ShopLite can be upgraded or used at the same
time as either our higher or lower versions. (ShopOrder in the work
area, ShopLite in the Office)
Inventory control and canned parts and labor jobs are also
enabled in ShopLite.
We have found that users who purchase ShopLite usually upgrade to
our Shop Manager Pro version. The
advantage to purchasing ShopLite is that you have a clean, easy way
to start using our software and when you are ready to get the
more advanced features of our other software, you can order the
upgrade, (all you pay is the difference between the price of ShopLite
and the other product). Your data will be safely opened in the new
version and you can even continue to use ShopLite or ShopOrder on
other stations in your network at the same time as the update. Some
shops keep ShopOrder as a terminal for their technicians.
The main differences between ShopLite and our other packages are
that you cannot do quotes or interface with parts and labor
estimation software. |
